Village Roadshow Theme Parks Account Terms

These Account Terms apply to your use of a Village Roadshow Theme Parks Account ("Account") within the Village Roadshow Theme Parks mobile application ("App") and any associated digital services.

By creating, accessing or using an Account, you agree to these Terms in addition to the Village Roadshow Theme Parks Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Creating an Account

To access certain App features, you may be required to create an Account.

By creating an Account you agree to:

  • provide accurate, current and complete information;
  • keep your information up to date;
  • only create an Account for yourself unless you are creating one on behalf of a child or dependant for whom you are legally responsible;
  • ensure you are at least 18 years of age or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks reserves the right to suspend or terminate an Account where information provided is false, misleading or used fraudulently.

2. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials, including your password.

You agree to:

  • keep your password secure;
  • not share your Account credentials with another person;
  • notify Village Roadshow Theme Parks promptly if you believe your Account has been accessed without your authorisation;
  • take reasonable steps to protect your device and log out when using a shared or public device.

You are responsible for activities conducted through your Account unless caused by our negligence or a security incident within our systems.

If you lose access to your Account, we may require you to verify your identity before restoring access.

3. Linked Tickets, Passes and Purchases

Your Account may allow you to manage:

  • admission tickets;
  • annual passes;
  • memberships;
  • event tickets;
  • queueing;
  • fast track;
  • purchased products;
  • reservations;
  • or other eligible products made available from time to time.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • products linked to your Account belong to you or you have authority to manage them;
  • details remain accurate and current;
  • any sharing or transfer of products complies with the applicable product terms & conditions.

Linking a product to your Account does not alter the terms applicable to that product.

4. Digital Wallet and Mobile Entry

Where available, eligible tickets, passes and memberships may be displayed within the App or added to supported digital wallets.

Presentation of a digital ticket or pass does not guarantee admission.

All tickets, passes and memberships remain subject to:

  • validation at entry;
  • applicable expiry dates;
  • capacity restrictions;
  • product-specific terms;
  • security verification where required.

You are responsible for ensuring your mobile device is operational and sufficiently charged to display your digital tickets or passes when required.

5. Account Features

Your Account may provide access to features including:

  • digital tickets and passes;
  • saved purchases;
  • booking history;
  • trip planning;
  • saved favourites;
  • attraction information;
  • ride wait times;
  • interactive maps;
  • notifications;
  • personalised recommendations;
  • exclusive member content;
  • promotional offers;
  • future loyalty or membership benefits; and
  • additional services introduced from time to time.

Features may vary between users and may be modified, suspended or removed without notice.

6. Family Accounts and Linked Guests

Where available, your Account may allow you to manage tickets, passes or bookings for family members or other guests.

By linking another guest to your Account you confirm that:

  • you have authority to manage that guest's products;
  • information relating to linked guests is accurate;
  • you are responsible for managing access to those linked products.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks may place limits on the number of guests that can be linked to an Account.

7. Personalisation

Your Account may be used to personalise your experience across our websites, mobile applications and other digital services.

Personalisation may include:

  • recommended experiences;
  • suggested attractions;
  • saved preferences;
  • favourite parks;
  • personalised content;
  • relevant offers;
  • tailored communications.

Personalisation may change over time based on your interactions with Village Roadshow Theme Parks.

8. Push Notifications

The App may send push notifications relating to:

  • bookings;
  • annual pass information;
  • operational updates;
  • ride availability;
  • event reminders;
  • special offers;
  • personalised recommendations.

Push notifications are optional and can be managed through your device settings.

Disabling notifications may result in you not receiving important updates relating to your Account or bookings.

Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from sending important service or security communications relating to your Account.

9. Biometric Login

Where supported by your device, you may choose to enable biometric authentication such as face ID or fingerprint login.

Biometric authentication is managed entirely by your device manufacturer.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks does not collect, receive or store your biometric information.

You remain responsible for securing your device and any person who has biometric access to your device may be able to access your Account.

10. Connected Services

The App may integrate with third-party services including digital wallets, mapping services, payment providers or other platforms.

Your use of those services is subject to the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks is not responsible for the availability or operation of third-party services.

11. Availability of Services

We aim to provide continuous access to your Account; however, availability cannot be guaranteed.

Your Account or certain features may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • maintenance;
  • upgrades;
  • security activities;
  • technical issues;
  • events outside our reasonable control.

We may update or change functionality from time to time without prior notice.

12. Account Suspension or Closure

Village Roadshow Theme Parks may suspend, restrict or close your Account where we reasonably believe:

  • these Terms have been breached;
  • fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorised activity has occurred;
  • your Account poses a security risk;
  • we are required to do so by law; or
  • it is necessary to protect our guests, systems or business operations.

Where reasonably practicable, we will notify you before taking action unless immediate action is required.

13. Closing Your Account

You may request closure of your Account at any time.

Closure of your Account does not automatically:

  • cancel existing bookings;
  • refund tickets or annual passes;
  • remove legal obligations relating to previous purchases.

Certain information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Privacy

Personal information collected through your Account will be handled in accordance with the Village Roadshow Theme Parks Privacy Policy.

By creating an Account you consent to us using your information to:

  • verify your identity;
  • manage bookings and purchases;
  • provide App functionality;
  • personalise your experience;
  • improve our digital services;
  • communicate important Account information;
  • administer promotions or benefits where applicable.
15. Future Digital Services

Village Roadshow Theme Parks may introduce additional digital products and services including:

  • loyalty programs;
  • digital memberships;
  • enhanced trip planning;
  • family profiles;
  • mobile ordering;
  • in-park experiences;
  • digital keys or credentials;
  • additional account functionality.

Your continued use of your Account after any applicable updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms.

16. Changes to these Terms

Village Roadshow Theme Parks may update these Account Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be published through the App and on our website.

Your continued use of your Account following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
